ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

 

1.    Manage ATS: maintain compliance by reviewing reqs, creating jobs, launching jobs, statusing applicants and closing jobs. (30%)

2.    Communicate with internal customers: communicate verbally and via reporting to AMs, DMs and VPs status of openings. (10%)

3.    Recruit large quantity of candidates: source through various means candidates for hourly and exempt positions. (40%)

4.    Interview candidates. (15%)

5.    Select qualified candidates. (5%)

As a trainer you would alaso have to combine the additional descriptions to your recruiter responsibilities.


1.    Develops schedules that address all levels of training required by contract, or by Allied standards, and prepares a monthly/quarterly calendar to schedule these support training activities with account managers.

2.    Presents the Security Officer Basic Course, re-training subjects, specialized training sessions for security officers, (Driver & Bike), and Practical Supervision Workshops.

3.    Advises executives, clients, Account Managers and supervisors in the implementation of training policies, procedures and processes.

4.    Maintains a structured review and reporting system to monitor basic account management functions related to OJT, re-training, specialized training, supervisor qualifications and account audits.

5.    Coordinates training  presentations of common and specialized subjects with area accounts so as to provide the most cost effective and efficient use of training time and facilities.

Police Scenario / Simulator Instructor

Position title:         Police Scenario / Simulator Instructor            

Duration:               2 months, Approx. 2 May – 4 July 2011

CTG Global are supporting a UN agency strengthen the capacity of a Middle Eastern Police Force through the provision of train the trainer training for the Police Force’s college Instructors.

General functions:     

1.  Development of Simulation/Scenario training and delivery of train the trainer training to the Police Force’s College Instructors that emphasizes the enforcement of the penal code in regards to domestic violence, gender issues, the application of the rule of law and human rights.  The scenario development of these scenario based training activities will enable students to participate in reality based simulations and put into practice the theory learned in the classroom.

 2.  The scenarios must have a particular emphasis put on domestic violence, gender issues, the importance of the rule of law and ensuring the respect of human rights.

 3.  Develop an assessment tool to determine if the student has demonstrated the required knowledge, skills, abilities and behaviours to a pre-determined standard

 

Desirable Qualifications and Skills:


Former Member of a European Police Force.

Previous experience in the development of and instruction in Police based scenarios and simulations.

Knowledge of the penal code with regards to domestic violence, gender issues, the application of the rule of law.

Train the Trainer experience is an asset.

Security Guard Position Available

30 hours a week (Wednesday- Sunday, 11am- 5pm)

Job Duties


Observe patrons within the assigned post and report any problems that occur

Prevent damage and theft in the galleries and Museum grounds

Advise visitors of Museum policies for viewing the collection. Give verbal warnings if the safety of the art is threatened

Immediately report any problems found in the assigned gallery to Security Manager and log details on daily activity report (DAR)

Answer questions from visitors and Museum staff as needed in a polite and courteous manner

Pick up objects or items that could harm visitors or employees

Evacuate visitors and employees from the Museum as quickly as possible during emergencies

Perform any additional assigned duties.


 

Requirements


Security guard certification required

CPR  and First Aid certifications preferred

High school diploma or GED with demonstrated reading and writing proficiency in English preferred

Must be able to interact with the general public and Museum staff

Must be able to stand and remain alert for extended periods of time

Must be able to follow directions

Evenings, special events, weekends may be required
