Volt Workforce Solutions is currently recruiting candidates for an exciting, long-term opportunity with Our Client in Ocoee, FL. This Client is a Telecommunications Company seeking to augment their Engineering staff in the Ocoee office with a professional who possesses expertise in Security and Alarm Systems.
Duties and Responsibilities:
The Security and Alarm System Engineer will:
Focus upon responding to RFPs (Requests for Proposal) and RFQs (Requests for Qualifications).
Study the details of the bid requests to extract requirements and material needs.
Shop vendors for material quotes.
Compose the pricing.
Oversee installation of vendors and perform as the backup Project Manager when necessary.
Produce Electronic Safety and Security design, including:
Access Control
Surveillance Systems
Intrusion Detection
Fire Alarm Systems
Related Design Tasks
This position will entail 5% travel, mostly in TX, FL and CA.
This is a one-year PLUS contract position, through Volt Workforce Solutions - a division of a Fortune 1000 publicly traded Staffing Industry Leader, based in Maitland, FL.
