Monitor alarm signals and respond to alarms using the information provided on instruction screens.
Places necessary outgoing calls to verify an alarm, dispatch the proper authorities, and notify responsible parties.
Needs the ability to remain calm and speak clearly to customers.
Properly documents all responses for the alarm within the alarm monitoring software.
Other duties to be assigned as needed.
Supervisor Position:
Manage other operators on shift by checking on there performance throughout the shift.
Make sure all operators on shift are giving customers best possible service
Help any customers that may require additional assistance to improve customer satisfaction.
Supervise 4-6 People.

Associate Account Specialist (French Speaking)

The Associate Account Specialist (English/French bilingual) is responsible for providing Datacard’s internal and external customers with highly reliable customer service. The position requires the use of independent judgment to: manage all assigned customer projects and orders; interpret and apply Datacard business practices and systems; troubleshoot and resolve all customer satisfaction issues. Thorough understanding and utilization of Datacard process/procedure/systems will be required. The Associate Account Specialist performs accountabilities detailed below and other duties as assigned.
Responsibilities:
Single point of contact for pre/post sale project activity/status.
High availability for customer contact to ensure timely and accurate response to all inquiries.
Manage all orders from placement to closure.
Customer order management and issue resolution including:
Coordinate resolution of freight charge disputes and delivery problems
Independent interpretation of pricing, returns and channel sales guidelines
Decision making on currency, duty, tax and freight cost issues for all export orders
Recommend product configurations and substitutions
Escalation authority on all customer issues
Coordinate customer specific documentation requirements
Research, resolve, and advise of all projects/orders or situations where expectations are not met
Process and distribute sales leads
Validate and process global Datacard RMAs
Validate warranty and service-contract coverage of products
Dispatch service calls to Datacard technicians
Manage software license renewals
Utilize probing skills to identify customer needs.
Gather and relay customer information to appropriate individuals within company.
Collaboration with all Datacard functional groups.
Awareness of global diversity.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Demonstrated success in effectively communicating at all levels of an organization
Computer skills including knowledge of Windows operating system a must
40 WPM on full keyboard utilization.
Fluency in written and spoken English & French
Preferred Qualifications:
1+ years Customer Service experience in a business to business environment
